Dr. Magoufis

Dr. George Magoufis is our interventional radiologist. He graduated from the Aristotle University Medical School and from the Hellenic Armed Forces Corps Officers' School. He was trained in radiology in Areteion Hospital, in Athens, Greece. Following the completion of his specialty training, he specialized in interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Bicetre in Paris, France, (Professor Pierre Lasjaunias). He served as an active duty officer of the Hellenic Navy. He is currently the Director of the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at Metrpolitan Hospital in Athens, Greece. He holds a PhD in Medicine. He is the author of many scientific articles and various book chapters. He was also an invited speaker in many national and international scientific conferences.
