Dr. Tombris

Dr. Stavros Tombris MD,PhD,DDS is our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from the Democritus University Medical School and the Aristotle University Dental School. He completed his specialty training at Tufts University, in Boston Massachusetts, USA. At the same time, he was Surgical Consultant at the Vascular Malformation Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University Medical School (Director Prof. Martin C. Mihm). He was trained with Dr. Milton Waner at Arkansas Children's Hospital in the field of Hemangiomas and Vascular Malformations. He served as the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Athens Naval Hospital. He is currently the Director of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department, at Athens Euroclinic Hospital. He has a special interest in the treatment of Hemangiomas and Vascular malformations of the face. Dr. Tombris has made scientific presentations regarding vascular anomalies at many national and international conferences, as an invited speaker. He holds a PhD in Medicine.
